Coby White
Coby White (calf) questionable Monday vs. Boston
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 8:55 AM
NBA Injury Report
Coby White (calf) is questionable for Monday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: On December 31, the Bulls announced that White would be re-evaluated in one week. A return on Monday would put him ahead of schedule, with the official injury listing being right calf injury management. If he returns against Boston, White will likely start alongside Tre Jones, as the Bulls will still be without Josh Giddey.
Jalen Smith
Jalen Smith (concussion) out Monday vs. Boston
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 8:51 AM
NBA Injury Report
Jalen Smith (concussion) is out for Monday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Smith entered the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during Saturday's loss to the Hornets. His absence will likely mean more minutes for Julian Phillips and Patrick Williams, although neither should be an option for redraft league managers.
Jalen Smith
Jalen Smith enters league concussion protocol
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 5:55 PM
Jalen Smith (concussion) finished Saturday's loss to the Hornets with nine points (4-of-5 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Smith was playing well at the time of his injury, as a third-quarter collision with Charlotte's LaMelo Ball forced him to the sidelines. Following the defeat, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that Smith has entered the league's concussion protocol. Chicago returns to action on Monday against the Celtics, the first of four games they're scheduled to play in Week 12. With Zach Collins (toe) already out, Julian Phillips and Patrick Williams will have opportunities to contribute. That said, neither is worth picking up in fantasy leagues.
Nikola Vucevic
Vu?evi? erupts for 28 points in loss to Hornets
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 4:36 PM
Nikola Vu?evi? amassed a game-high 28 points (11-of-15 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists and one block over 33 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Hornets.
Analysis: Vu?evi? took full advantage of Charlotte's lack of interior defense with Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) and Moussa Diabate (wrist) missing to knock down 11-of-15 shots from the floor, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. The 35-year-old veteran center's scoring and rebounding numbers have been down this season but he's still averaging 16.5 points and 8.9 rebounds through 34 games. The Bulls are in line for four games next week with matchups against the Celtics, Pistons, Heat and Mavericks.
Ayo Dosunmu
Dosunmu scores 16 points in loss to Hornets
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 4:34 PM
Ayo Dosunmu posted 16 points (7-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Hornets.
Analysis: Dosunmu got hot early on in this one, taking advantage of his opportunity with primary creators Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) out of action, draining 6-of-7 from the floor to pour in 14 first-half points. He went silent down the home stretch, totaling just two points in the second half. The 25-year-old speedster should see an uptick in minutes and scoring opportunities for at least a couple additional games while Giddey and White are out.
Nikola Vucevic
Nikola Vu?evi? has double-double in win over Magic
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 4:46 PM
Nikola Vu?evi? had 17 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists and one three-pointer against the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: Vu?evi?'s 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists helped fuel a comfortable win over the Magic on Friday. The 35-year-old center was one of five Bulls with at least 15 points vs. Orlando. Vu?evi?'s 10 rebounds were nice to see because he's averaging 8.9 rebounds per game this year after averaging 10.1 last year. He's provided fifth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Bulls finish out the week against the Hornets on Saturday.
Kevin Huerter
Kevin Huerter has 20 points, four threes in win
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 4:42 PM
Kevin Huerter had 20 points (8-of-15 FGs), four rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers against the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: Huerter had a good game against the Magic on Friday with 20 points and four three-pointers off the bench. Still, the last time the 27-year-old shooting guard scored 20 points in a game it was November 17. He isn't even seeing a significant minutes bump with Coby White (calf) out. Not much has changed with Huerter's fantasy value as he's still not worth rostering in most formats.
Isaac Okoro
Isaac Okoro scores season-high 24 points in win
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 4:00 PM
Isaac Okoro led the Bulls with 24 points (8-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers on Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Analysis: Okoro is known for his defense more than his offense, but he made an impact as a scorer in this game. This was his highest-scoring game as a Bull and the second-highest scoring game of his career. Okoro had an excellent game and helped Chicago get the win. He'll continue to start, but he won't continue to score at this rate. He isn't worth picking up based on this performance.
Jalen Smith
Jalen Smith posts double-double as starter
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 3:58 PM
Jalen Smith started on Wednesday and contributed 14 points (5-of-11 FGs), 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Pelicans.
Analysis: There were two open spots in the starting lineup for Chicago with Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) both set to miss time, and head coach Billy Donovan opted to roll with a two-big starting unit that featured Smith next to Nikola Vucevic. With how well it worked, it would be surprising if Donovan didn't stick with it, which would make Smith a must-roster player until White or Giddey returns to the lineup. He's currently rostered in just eight percent of Yahoo! leagues.
Tre Jones
Tre Jones contributes 20 points, 12 assists
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 3:56 PM
Tre Jones started on Wednesday and contributed 20 points (7-of-7 FGs), two rebounds, 12 assists and one three-pointer in a 134-118 win over the Pelicans.
Analysis: With Josh Giddey (hamstring) set to miss at least two weeks and Coby White (calf) out at least one week, Jones filled one of the open starting spots in Chicago. He was excellent as a starter earlier this season and picked up right where he left off with an uber-efficient double-double in the win. Jones is available in 77 percent of Yahoo! leagues but should be considered a must-roster player as long as Giddey and White are sidelined.
Jalen Smith
CHI starting Jones, Buzelis, Okoro, Smith, Vucevic
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 12:42 PM
Chicago Bulls
Tre Jones, Matas Buzelis, Isaac Okoro, Jalen Smith and Nikola Vu?evi? will start against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Analysis: With Josh Giddey (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) sidelined for extended periods of time, Jones and Smith will enter the starting unit in the first game without their star guards. Both players will see a nice boost in minutes and production as part of the starting unit.
Zach Collins
Zach Collins (toe) to be re-evaluated in 10 days
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 10:21 AM
Chicago Bulls
According to the Chicago Bulls' official X.com account, Zach Collins (toe) will be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Analysis: Collins' absence means Jalen Smith should operate as the primary backup center behind Nikola Vu?evi?. Even with an increased role, Smith is unlikely to be productive enough to warrant consideration outside of deeper fantasy leagues.
Coby White
Coby White (calf) to be re-evaluated in one week
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 9:23 AM
Chicago Bulls
According to the Bulls' official X.com account, Coby White (calf) will be re-evaluated in a week.
Analysis: White is dealing with right calf tightness that will force him to miss at least four games. With White sidelined, Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter should see additional runout of the backcourt.
Josh Giddey
Josh Giddey to be re-evaluated in two weeks
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 9:13 AM
Chicago Bulls
According to the Chicago Bulls' official X.com account, Josh Giddey will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Analysis: ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Tuesday that Giddey would be out a “few weeks,” but we've now got a more tangible timeline. Giddey's extended absence will free up plenty of opportunities for Tre Jones, and Jones is worth adding off the waiver wire wherever he's available.
Josh Giddey
Shams: Josh Giddey (hamstring) out a ‘few weeks'
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 3:35 PM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Josh Giddey has been diagnosed with a strained left hamstring and will miss “at least a few weeks.”
Analysis: A few hours after the Bulls announced that Giddey would not play in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans due to left hamstring tightness, it was reported that he has been diagnosed with a strain. What grade the strain is was not made clear, but the Bulls' point guard will miss some time. With Coby White dealing with right calf tightness, Chicago will be left to rely on Tre Jones to run the show. He's worth adding in standard fantasy leagues while Giddey sits.
Zach Collins
Zach Collins (toe) to remain out Wednesday vs. NOR
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 12:44 PM
K.C. Johnson
Zach Collins (toe) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Analysis: Collins was diagnosed with a sprained left big toe ahead of Monday's loss to the Timberwolves, and the Bulls have not provided a return timeline. Jalen Smith will figure more prominently in the Bulls' rotation, but he's unlikely to reach the point where he should be rostered in most fantasy leagues since Nikola Vu?evi? is healthy.
Coby White
Coby White (calf) out Wednesday vs. New Orleans
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 12:42 PM
K.C. Johnson
Coby White (calf) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Analysis: While White will not play on Wednesday, the good news is that it's due to right calf tightness rather than a strain. Josh Giddey (hamstring) is also out, meaning the Bulls will rely heavily upon Tre Jones, Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter. Fantasy managers seeking a streamer should prioritize Jones and Dosunmu ahead of Huerter.
Josh Giddey
Josh Giddey (hamstring) ruled out vs. New Orleans
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 12:40 PM
K.C. Johnson
Josh Giddey (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Analysis: Giddey exited early from Monday's game and is now being listed as out due to left hamstring tightness, which is much better than a strain. Giddey and Coby White (calf) being out will open up two starting spots and plenty of minutes for Ayo Dosunmu, Tre Jones and Kevin Huerter, with all three set to hold streaming value for at least one game.
Nikola Vucevic
Vu?evi? finishes with 23 points in loss to Wolves
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 4:48 PM
Nikola Vu?evi? amassed 23 points (10-of-17 FGs), five rebounds and two assists over 30 minutes during Monday's blowout loss to the Timberwolves.
Analysis: There weren't a ton of positive takeaways here for the Bulls as they fell behind by 41 points in the second half and ended up losing by nearly that many. Vu?evi?, who knocked down 10-of-17 from the floor, including 3-of-5 from long range, has been inconsistent from a scoring standpoint and his rebounding numbers are down considerably relative to previous years. Chicago will attempt to snap a two-game losing streak on Wednesday when they face the Pelicans at home.
Josh Giddey
Josh Giddey (hamstring) will not return Monday
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 3:33 PM
Drew Stevens
Josh Giddey (hamstring) will not return to Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Giddey pulled up with a left hamstring injury early in the third quarter of Monday's game and was subbed out of the game almost immediately. Ayo Dosunmu replaced Giddey in the lineup, and he will figure prominently in the Bulls' rotation as Coby White left Monday's game during the first half due to a calf injury.
